September brings plans to enter next year`s Camden Fringe Festival. Under a working title of Big Squirrel Productions, Kattreya and I intend to write a double bill with my play called A MIDDLE-AGED MAN`S UNCERTAINTY THEORY which I have already started writing.
AUGUST 2010
August starts with an audition for student film Love.com in Baldock and a simpatico readthrough for a new play by Caroline Bowder at the Cambridge Drama Centre Completed final draft of ONCOLOGY. Casting will be Thurs Jan 27th 2011. Completed third draft of ARRIVAL

News from Jasper Publishing that BARBECUE is to be performed in Hereford in September. Roleplay training and exams at Addenbrookes. Very constructive private readthrough of ARRIVAL and ONCOLOGY with some of the cast and production team. I can now write the final drafts.

April starts with a cast change to ANNIVERSARY due to ill health. Finished the first draft of ARRIVAL. Finished the second draft of ONCOLOGY. Started rehearsals for FOR STARTERS. Roleplay work for OSCE exams at Addenbrookes. Attend a screening of THE SUE with the crew at Anglia Ruskin. Received a copy of THEODORA. ANNIVERSARY wins second place award out of thirteen plays at Cambridge Drama Festival.
MARCH 2010
First work as support trainer for First Question at two primary schools in Suffolk. GP Training exams at Newmarket. Finished shooting 6 days as Arthur the lead in a very Tim Burtonesque film called THE SUE. Directed by Radek Szaraniec and produced by Emily Zervakis at Anglia Ruskin. Back in action as Willie Widget in FROM RUSSIA WITH BLOOD at Hemingford Grey House. Training at Addenbrookes for OSCE`s next month. BARBECUE is to be performed in May in Wilstead. ANNIVERSARY wins Best New Play at the Sawston Drama Festival. Finished the month by attending the launch of the Co-op Enterprise hub at Homerton College for First Question.

I have now embarked on writing ARRIVAL. News from Samuel French that BACKGROUND ARTIST was performed in Scotland in December. Production difficulties mean BIRTHS, DEATHS & MARRIAGES has been put back to May 2011. However ARRIVAL will now be entered for the 2011 drama festivals. FOR STARTERS (in which I played Roland and Kattreya played Daisy) is to be revived and become the new WCP May production in a double bill with Sean Abbs`s WE MAKE BABIES. Audition at NRIB for narrating talking books in Peterborough. Received my enhanced CRB and went to a school in Thetford for a second stint as an observer for First Question. ANNIVERSARY has been given the second slot on Friday April 23rd at the Cambridge Drama Festival. Audition for the lead role of Arthur in THE SUE at Anglia Ruskin to be shot next month. Roleplay work at UEA. Third and final stint as observer for First Question at a primary school near Bury St Edmunds. Next month I get promoted to support assistant. Audition for Sitcom pilot at Anglia Ruskin. Won the role of Arthur in THE SUE. Training at Addenbrookes for GP Training exams at Newmarket. Busy month ends with psychiatric mock exams at Fulbourn.

News from Samuel French that PARENTCRAFT was performed in Ireland in November. Spent a day in Hatfield filming my role as Mr Williams in THEODORA. Four performances playing the Mayor of Hamelin in THE PIED PIPER for WCP. Roleplay work at UEA. Premiere of ANNIVERSARY will be Friday March 26th at the Sawston Drama Festival. Finished first draft of ONCOLOGY.

Premiere of two new murder mysteries in Cambridge FROM RUSSIA WITH BLOOD with my role Willie Widget based on James Bond`s Q and THE FORUM OF DOOM specially written for the client in which I played disgruntled caretaker Colin Filch. Succesful audition for a student film called THEODORA at University of Herts. Shooting mid January. Roleplay work at Addenbrookes.

PLAYING AWAY, PSYCHIC BABBLE and ONE MISTAKE have now all been published by Jasper Publishing. Started rehearsals for my 11th consecutive WCP panto, this time THE PIED PIPER. Kattreya is principal boy. Roleplay work in Kings Lynn, Peterborough and Norwich. Second training day with First Question in Ipswich and then out into the field as observer at a primary school in Colchester. Final draft readthrough with the cast of ANNIVERSARY.

A busy start to October with a First Question Co-operative training day in Ipswich, roleplay work in Histon and a trip to ACTOR EXPO 09 at Goldsmith`s College for an illuminating Spotlight Seminar. ANNIVERSARY is now fully cast and I`ve started work on the middle play ONCOLOGY. Jasper are to publish my last one-act plays ONE MISTAKE and PSYCHIC BABBLE. Roleplay work in Cambridge and Norwich.

Back in action as drunken surgeon Dr David Evidence for Cambridge Murder Mystery Company at the Hotel de Vin. Finished the final draft of my latest one-act play ANNIVERSARY and have nearly completed casting. Rehearsals will start in February with the first performance in Mach. It will be the final part of a trilogy entitled BIRTHS, DEATHS and MARRIAGES to be performed in November 2010 giving me six months to write the other two plays. The medical students are back at Cambridge & Norwich and so am I as a verbose publican, shy postman, worried managing director and under-performing car salesman.

Came back from holiday in Cornwall to spend the last day of August at the Actors One Stop Shop in Wood Green creating my showreel and Private Hire voiceover. Kattreya gets a guest appearance.
